Add colour, texture, and personality to your home with a beautiful vintage kantha quilt. Used as a throw, draped on a chair or on the end of your bed, these unique pieces represent a connection to a centuries old textile tradition, and to the creativity and skill of Bengali women.
Lohori means wave, a style of kantha stitching popular in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, where the straight kantha stitch are closely packed to form regular patterns.
This beautifully colourful lohori kantha features multi-coloured stitching in the soja (straight or simple stitch) on a multicoloured base, with a fringed edge.
