Vintage kantha quilt - Bagru mustard flower

The ultimate in upcycling, these quilts are versatile, durable and require a minimum of care.  This vintage quilt has been given new life with a fresh Bagru blockprint design. The printing traditionally associated with the town of Bagru in Rajasthan uses natural vegetable dyes and floral motifs. This gorgeous quilt features a floral design in rust red and sage green on a mustard yellow background, with red, blue and green traditional decorative embroidery, and the reverse in an abstract leaf print in mustard on ecru. Absolutely beautiful.
