The head of wheat (triticum aestivum) holds 20-100 kernels, each capable of becoming a new plant. Cultivated for over 10,000 years, it symbolises abundance and has been used as motif in art, jewellery and folk traditions worldwide - from Roman harvest wreaths, to to delicate gold wheat sheaves. Its elegant form blends utility with timeless cultural beauty.
