The Spear thistle, with its purple blooms atop spikey stems, symbolises resilience and protection. Lesser known, its leaves were traditionally used for cheese-making, and its roots eaten as a vegetable. This tough yet beautiful flower thrives in diverse landscapes, embodying strength and adaptability.
