The oriental greenwing dragonfly (neurobasis chinensis) dazzles with iridescent green wings that shimmer like metal in sunlight - males flash them in courtship displays along fast-flowing streams. Native to South and Southeast Asia, they prefer clean forest rivers. Though delicate in appearance, they are strong fliers, covering territories with grace and agility during the warmer months.
