The swallow is a small migratory bird found in many parts of the world. They have a distinctive forked tail, which helps them to navigate while catching insects in flight. Swallows are known for their agility and speed, flying at up to 35 miles an hour. They are also famous for their long distance migration, which can take them thousands of miles each year.
