The Field poppy is a hardy poppy, thriving in disturbed soil like fields and roadsides. Its vibrant red petals symbolise resilience and remembrance, particularly honouring fallen soldiers. The seeds are tiny and can lie dormant for years, waiting for the right conditions to sprout. It is a vital food source for birds, adding to its ecological contributon.
