Maku Textiles was founded in 2011 by designer Santanu Das. With a passion for handwoven textiles and indigo dye, Maku produces carefully considered handmade garments that celebrate the historic craft and textile traditions of India.
The Jataka collection is inspired by stories of the former births of The Buddha on his path of gradual transformation to The Enlightened One.
Beautifully soft merino wool pants, in deep indigo with a stripe, the Kosambi pants are slightly cropped to the ankle, fitted in the waist with front pleats, wide legged and with a button-down opening at the fly. Exquisite details, including hand worked buttonholes.
