Lotus Veda are a Jaipur-based company who pride themselves on beautifully simple, comfortable clothes made from handloom natural fibre fabrics, using only natural and eco-friendly dyes.
All production is completed in small batches, from weaving to stitching, aiming for zero wastage and sustainability. Lotus Veda pay fair wages to all their artisans.
Only cotton threads are used, ensuring garments are (in the far future, after a life of being loved and worn many many times!) 100% bio-degradable. Buttons are stitched by hand, and every garment has its own sweet hand-finished detail for you to discover.
In a classic gingham in beautiful handloom cotton, River is an easy fit, one size A-line dress, gathered at the neck with a sweet frill and tunic opening. It has three quarter sleeves gathered with elastic, in seam side pockets, with selvedge detail at the back. The perfect dress to throw on for busy days all year round - cool and breezy for the warmer months with sandals or over your favourite lightweight pants, or layer up for winter with tights, boots and a cosy knit.
