Award winning Kolkata based design studio Karomi has reinvented jamdani for a new era.

Working with several village based weaving clusters in Bengal, Karomi takes an artistic approach to design. Whilst respecting and sustaining the beauty of this traditional craft,Scarf and the skills of the village weavers, Karomi proudly brings a design driven product to a sophisticated and environmentally conscious consumer.

The studio has grown to work with other crafts such as hand-block printing and kantha embroidery. 

An easy, loose-fit silhouette crafted for breezy comfort, the Ariel Top blends Gicha weave and Jamdani motifs on a soft, handspun cotton base.

The round neckline opens into a gentle V, and short sleeves and a relaxed high-low hem provide fluid movement. Subtle stripe detailing at the sleeve hem and the panelled construction add quiet depth to the top. Light, airy, and effortlessly comfortable, this top is made for everyday ease.
