Bosabo is a family owned and operated company, now in its fourth generation, devoted to the manufacture of handmade clogs, sandals and boots. Located in Brittany, France, Bosabo was established in the 1890’s when Emile Adouin bundled up his tools and went from farm to farm to hand-carve tailor made clogs for the farmers on site. Today, the company operates under the direction of Joel Adouin and is the only remaining workshop in France specialising in the manufacture of clogs. Bosabo’s styling has continually evolved, but the DNA of the company remains the same and many of the traditional artisan manufacturing processes have been preserved.
Bosabo's Camille clogs boast a classic look that will complete a wide range of outfits. Their leather uppers flawlessly keep your feet in place in all circumstances. The traditional wood soles give excellent comfort, and the stylish nail detail adds a feminine vibe. The high quality leather used for the uppers is sourced primarily from French tanneries and is processed using eco friendly vegetable tanning.
Every pair of Bosabo shoes is traditionally handmade to order by skilled artisans, making each pair truly one of a kind. Thus slight variations may occur in the wood grain leather shade.
