Ilse Jacobsen is based in Hornbæk, a beautiful beach side town north of Copenhagen. Ilse has built a brand inspired by the landscape and the relaxed Scandinavian lifestyle, based on the good design and quality materials you'd expect from Denmark.

The Tulip shoe has a well earned international reputation as a "must have shoe". This is Ilse's take on the classic college loafer, featuring a penny strap and rounded toe. With the same iconic Tulip sole made of 75% natural rubber and 25% recycled rubber, the upper material is 100% microfibre with a glossy PU surface. The upper is made without any glue and attached with a matching recycled thread.
