Olieve & Olie - olive oil skin care

I'm very happy to welcome Olieve & Olie to Juniper Hearth! What particularly attracted me to the OIieve & Olie range is the story behind the brand.

There are, of course, quite a few Australian made, organic skin care products out there, but I love the fact that Olieve & Olie is a family business, with a deep connection to country and a passionate focus on handcrafting an authentic, organic and sustainable product from local ingredients.

Andy and Jude Steele planted 2000 olive trees on their property, 50km from Echuca in Northern Victoria, in the year 2000. The trees flourished, and shortly after their first harvest, Jude began making olive oil soap.

Olieve & Olie is now based on the Mornington Peninsula. The olive oil however, is still sourced from the original farm, cold pressed straight after harvest to retain all its goodness.

Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and vitamin E which provide anti-aging benefits and help restore skin smoothness. Olive oil is also one of the most sustainable oils available – olive trees require little water, do not require spraying, and can be harvested year after year after year.

All the other natural and organic ingredients are (in most cases) sourced directly from local farmers and producers. Essential oils are used for fragrance. And there’s absolutely NO animal testing and NO palm oil!

I couldn’t choose so we have all three products in the beautifully scented hand and body wash, and hand and body cream range in different sizes - Wild Lemon Myrtle, Lavender & Rose Geranium and Bergamot, Clary Sage & Geranium

All products also come beautifully boxed for easy gifting. And, best of all, the hand and body wash is also available in a 1 litre refill.

Also, the lip balm which is a little pot of liquid gold! And the Foot Bar (a solid oil, leave on foot treatment) guaranteed to have your feet looking amazing in a few weeks!

Available in the shop now. Not online, but always happy to post!
