A passion for textiles and a focus on sustainability and slow fashion are at the heart of Valia's ethos. Established in Melbourne in 2010, creative textile making is the starting point for the design process at Valia Collective. With their unique fabrications, they have built a loyal following for garments that are flattering, comfortable and easy to care for, whilst evoking confidence and style.

Every Valia collection is made in Melbourne, using only the highest quality, sustainable and environmentally friendly natural fibres available – fine European linens, cotton and wool - all fabrics are exclusive to Valia.

Valia's winter knits use Australian grown ultra-fine merino wool, processed in Victoria and spun by hand in Melbourne by local artisans.

Every season sees the creation of a unique colour palette, with dyes mixed by the Valia team. Valentina, the creative spirit behind Valia, makes the artworks from which exclusive jacquard prints are designed and woven in Melbourne. Jacquards are created by knitting yarn (wool in winter, cotton in summer) into differently coloured patterns and structures – each print tells a story, a theme that runs through the seasonal collection and also beyond, as Valia garments endure and co-ordinate year on year.

The 2020 Autumn/Winter collection, Fleur de Cerisier, features jewel-like wintery tones tones of emerald, scarlet and inky navy in easy to wear co-ordinates.
